Week 02
Refining the subject: What is the objective?
This week I shall proceed to engage with my selected subject, and commence the start of my reading of relevant materials, pertaining to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, and how this had, and will, impact the Arts & Culture sector.
In developing my Draft-proposal, I am mindful of the key areas that I should focus on, and as I consider the content of the proposal, I am inclined to reflect on how this study could serve as a platform for the documenting of our collective, social-history.
One insight that has begun to emerge in my research, thus far, is that the pandemic has had, and will continue to impact local communities to the point of irreversible damage. This point interests me, as it poses multiple, and multi-faceted questions as to how that impact would inform our strategies, going forward.
